This policy complies with the German Civil Code (BGB), German Consumer Protection Law, and EU Distance Selling Directives applicable to all orders placed with Anoviaa in Germany and the European Union. Statutory consumer rights always prevail over internal store policies.

Statutory 14-Day Cooling-Off Right (Widerrufsrecht)

Under §312g BGB, consumers have an unconditional 14-day cooling-off period to cancel or return online orders without providing reasons. The period begins on the day you receive the goods. This statutory right cannot be excluded or limited.

Valid Return Conditions

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, complete with original tags and packaging, and in fully resalable condition. Customers must properly preserve goods during the return period.

Statutory Warranty Rights

Defective, damaged, misdescribed, or non-conforming goods are eligible for repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund under German statutory warranty rules valid for 24 months after delivery. These rights are independent of the cooling-off period.

Voluntary Extended Return Window

Beyond the statutory 14-day right, Anoviaa offers an extended voluntary return period for eligible items as a customer benefit. This does not replace or restrict your legal consumer rights under German law.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers bear return shipping costs for voluntary change-of-mind returns in accordance with §357 BGB. We cover all return shipping fees for defective, wrong, damaged, or error shipments caused by our team.

Refund Processing

After inspection of returned goods, we will process refunds to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe required by German consumer law. Final bank processing times vary by European financial institutions.

Non-Returnable Items

Personalised custom products, opened sealed hygiene items, and final-sale goods are exempt from the 14-day unconditional return right per German law. Statutory defect warranty rights remain fully applicable.
